Student Wellbeing

Respect for self and each other is the core ethos of our School.

Your child participates in a curriculum based on the core values of respect, perserverance and kindness. The values education program is supported by our School Chaplain, Emma.

The academic, social and emotional development of your child is the prime focus of all members of the school community.

Each member of the school community aims to ensure your child is provided with a safe and supportive teaching and learning environment.

The key is to build student resilience and social skills through personal development and a better understanding of self and others.

Hepburn Primary School is a member of the Alannah and Madelaine Foundations, “Better Buddies” program.  This program helps our students entering their first year of school feel safe, valued and connected to the school community.

“KidsMatter” is a program which aims to strengthen the mental health and wellbeing of children and is being trialled at Hepburn Primary School.
